Malibu AYSO

Parents, Coaches, and Players who are interested in a higher level of competition can now consider AYSO Extra!, which is our club level venue for ages 9-14. National AYSO, our own Area 10E, and our sister regions have launched a new program called AYSO Extra. The AYSO Extra league is available to AYSO or Club players who want to find an alternate to Club Soccer but with all the benefits of a challenging and competitive club style league. The cost will be 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of a traditional soccer club, and will offer highly trained coaches, more experienced referees, and the access of professional trainers during practices and clinics for the duration of the season. AYSO Extra teams may play against other soccer clubs outside of AYSO in AYSO/Cal South sanctioned tournaments. AYSO Extra teams will not play against AYSO League teams, Extra teams will play only other Extra teams from with in the Area and Section. Just like club soccer, you will have to commit to travel. Players can play in Malibu AYSO League and Extra concurrently or just Extra!

Malibu AYSO is seeking indications of interest for serious players and serious coaches for the 2010/2011 season for the following divisions, U10, U11, U12, U13, and U14. Applications, try-outs, and registration information will be forthcoming. If you are seriously interested, please sign up here.

AYSO has developed and implemented a new competitive soccer league called Extra!

Malibu GU14 Advanced to Sectionals in Bakersfield. Both GU14 teams battled the rain, hail, wind, thunder, and lightning.

In the end, the elements prevailed (mostly the mud)

However, mother nature did not steal any smiles or laughs from our warriors(she did ruin Coach Paolo's white Polo shirt).

January 11, 2010 GU14 "Guns and Roses" and "Team" receive special Malibu City commendation. Both teams advanced to the Sectional tournament in Bakersfield

Congratulations to Coach Wesson and his BU12 All-Stars who took 1st place in the Area tournament in Moorpark.
The team advances to play in the Sectional tournament in Bakersfield in early March. They will play teams from all throughout central California, Fresno to the San Fernando Valley
for the chance to play in the State Championship late in March. Good luck guys!!!!
